William  Jerry Watkins was born on April 14, 1940 in Weatherford, Texas to Howard and Avril Lyons Watkins.  He passed away Thursday, May 10, 2018 at his home in Franklin at the age of 78 years.  Jerry received his education in Weatherford and married Sandra Kay Stults on August 3, 1968.  He was a self-employed heavy equipment operator and was a resident of Franklin for the past 45 years. He was of the Baptist faith.  Jerry was preceded in death by his parents and wife.

He is survived by:

Daughter and Son-in-law – Sheryl and John Overall of Milano

Son and Daughter-in-law – Danny and Shea Watkins of Franklin

Sisters – Arlena Watkins, Bonita Watkins,
Wilma Watkins all of Weatherford And Ruth Lewis of Arkansas

Brother – George Watkins of Arlington

5 Grandchildren – Gage Lopez, Jarod Overall, Dalton Watkins, Dean Watkins and Amber Slaughter

Services will be held on Saturday, May 12, 2018 at 11:00 A.M. at the McCauley Funeral Home Chapel.  Burial will follow in the Mt. Pleasant Cemetery.  A visitation will be held on Friday, May 11, 2018 from 6-8 P.M. at the McCauley Funeral Home.
