Vivian "Nadene" Dees, 76, of Franklin, Texas, passed away on September 23, 2015, in College Station, Texas. She was a loving wife to Joe Dees for 57 years, and a wonderful mother and grandmother to her 4 children, 8 grandchildren, and 9 great grandchildren. She served as "Grandma" to many other children, friends, and pets as well.
Nadene was born on September 17, 1939, in Carlsbad, New Mexico to F.A. "Buster" Sanders, and Pearlie Maye Magby Sanders. Nadene married Bobby Joe Dees on December 8, 1958, in Lovington, New Mexico. They lived in several places throughout Texas, Oklahoma and New Mexico before settling in Franklin 25 years ago. She held many jobs and wore many hats throughout the years, but none as important as the family matriarch. Most recently, she and Joe owned and operated Dees Pumping Service in rural Robertson county.
Nadene was preceded in death by her father, Buster Sanders, her mother, Maye Sanders, and her brother, Albert Sanders. She is survived by her husband Joe, her son Wade Dees of Somerville, Texas, her son Jim and wife Tammy Dees of Overton, Texas, her daughter Karen and husband Steven Bolech of Channelview, Texas, and her son Scott and wife Sheila of Franklin, Texas. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Kathryn Dees, Frances Dees, Chris and wife Natasha Dees, Justin and wife Sara Dees, Jeff Dees, Joe Dees and fiancée Sarah, Craig Yates, Matthew Yates, her great grandchildren, Aaron Dees, Mikayla Dees, Devon Dees, Jaela Jones, Andrew Dees, Jaleesa Jones, Joshua, Jr. Jones, Paislee Dees, and Parker Dees. Her surviving sisters are Clydene Gunn, Shirley Sanders Robinson, Glenda Farmer, and her brothers are Lawrence "Pete" Sanders and Randy Sanders. Nadene had numerous nieces, nephews, step grandchildren and great grandchildren, sister-in-laws, and brother-in-laws as well.
A child of God and a life time Baptist, Nadene is now at peace and health with our Lord and Savior. She will be truly missed by all of those who loved and adored her.
A private family memorial service will be held at the family home in Franklin.
