Virginia Winburn , 90, of Brenham and formerly of Franklin, Texas passed away on Tuesday, November 29, 2011 in Brenham. She was born on January 6, 1921 in Robertson County, Texas to Henry Austin Cooper and Mildred Ella Johnson Cooper. She was a homemaker and a member of the Jersey Village Church of Christ in Houston. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Brooks Winburn, Sister, Ann Flinchum and brother, Austin "Buddy" Cooper.

She is survived by:

Special Niece – Sandra Benfield of Lenoir, NC
Special Nephew – Roger Flinchum of Cold Spring
Number of other nieces, nephews and other relatives

Services were held on Thursday, December 1, 2011 at the McCauley Funeral Home Chapel in Franklin, Texas. Dale Foster officiated. Burial was in the West Boone Cemetery in Robertson County, Texas.
