Veda Lois Dewvall, 97, of Houston and formerly of Franklin, Texas passed away on Friday, July 29, 2011 in Houston . She was born on May 16, 1914 in Robertson County to John and Pearl Crawford Tarver. She was a homemaker and was of the Baptist faith. She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers, Clyde Tarver, Otho Tarver, Leon Tarver and J.B. Tarver, her husbands, Henry Mathews, J.B. Martin and Robert Dewvall and her son, Jerry Mathews.

She is survived by:

Services will be held on Sunday, July 31, 2011 at 2:00 P.M. at the McCauley Funeral Home Chapel in Franklin. Rev. Freddy Burden of New Baden will officiate. Burial will follow in the Mt. Pleasant Cemetery.
