Valerie Jean Johnson passed away on Thursday, June 20, 2019 in Dallas, Texas after a long battle with cancer at the age of 61 years.  She was born on February 25, 1958 in Duluth, Minnesota to Eugene Donald Lynberg and Camilia Hope Conley.

After moving from Duluth, Valerie grew up in  Houston and attended school there.  She was employed with DND Poultry Supply as an office manager for the past nine years.  Valerie had been a resident of Robertson and Leon Counties for the past 35 years and attended Bald Prairie Baptist Church.

Valerie loved her family and her children, she always saw the positive side of every situation.  She was grounded in her faith as well as her quiet strength.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Camilia Hope Johnson and Wylie Terry Johnson.

She is survived by:

Sons – Matthew Wade Lawson of Marquez

Michael Beeth of Austin

Sister – Deb Vinci of Raleigh, NC

Brother – Steve Johnson of Franklin

Nephews – Steven Todd Johnson II and Cody Ingram Johnson

Niece – Camilia Hope Johnson

Aunt – Auntie Jeri

A memorial service is scheduled for 3:00 P.M. Sunday, June 30, 2019 at McCauley Funeral Home Chapel in Franklin.

Memorials may be made in lieu of flowers to charity or organization of choice.
