Tracy Sydney Stem, 91, of the Boone Prairie Community of Robertson County, Texas passed away on Thursday, July 30, 2015 in College Station, Texas. He was born on May 10, 1924 in the Willow Creek Community of Robertson County to Carl and Dollie Stem. Mr. Stem attended Franklin High School and married Marie Milstead on October 13, 1945. They then moved to Texas City, Texas, and resided there for 40 years while Tracy was employed with Union Car Bide, where he was an Instrument Forman until his retirement. They returned home to Boone Prairie in 1979 and he continued a career in ranching. Tracy was a member of the Franklin United Methodist Church, Patrick Lodge #359, Franklin, Texas, Scottish Rite, Franklin Lions Club and Robertson County Crime Stoppers. He also served for many years on the Robertson County Water Board. He is preceded in death by his parents,4 brothers and one sister.

Services will be held on Saturday, August 1, 2015 at 10:00 A.M. at the Franklin United Methodist Church Activities Building. Rev. Polly Standing will officiate. Burial will follow in the Bald Prairie Cemetery in Robertson County. A visitation will be held on Friday, July 31, 2015 from 6-8 P.M. at McCauley Funeral Home in Franklin.
