Tommy Favors, 74, of Winnsboro, Texas passed away on Thursday, March 8, 2012 at his residence. He was born on February 14, 1938 in Hearne, Texas to James Buel and Annie Belle Shepherd Favors. He married Dixie Hancock on July 14, 1955. Mr. Favors was a self employed brick mason and had been a resident of Winnsboro for nine years previously living in Little Elm, Texas for thirty six years. He was of the Baptist faith. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, son; Ricky Favors, six brothers and one sister.

Services will be held on Monday, March 12, 2012 at 1:00 P.M. at the McCauley Funeral Home Chapel in Franklin, Texas. Pastor Dana Altimore will officiate. Burial will follow in the Mt. Pleasant Cemetery near Franklin. Visitation will be held on Monday from 9:00 A.M. until service time at McCauley Funeral Home in Franklin.
