Thurman Jimmie Waldrep, 75, of Franklin, Texas passed away on Friday,January 5, 2018 at his residence.  He was born on October 17, 1942 in Newton County, Texas to Thomas Alfred Waldrep and Mamie Lou Tupin Waldrep.  He received his education in Deweyville and married Clara Mae Bynum.  Mr. Waldrep was a retired propane truck driver and was a resident of Franklin for the past 46 years.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Clara Mae Waldrep; sons, George Alfred Waldrep and Jimmie Melton Waldrep; daughter, Diana Lynn Waldrep; brothers, Jody, Thomas and Leroy Waldrep; Sisters, Callie and Lorene.

Services will be held on Wednesday, January 10, 2017 at 2:00 P.M. at the  McCauley Funeral Home Chapel in Franklin.  Burial will follow in the Sunnyside Cemetery in Calvert, Texas.  A visitation will be held on Tuesday from 6:00-8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
