Thomas Lee McCready was born on August 7, 1948 in Grand Rapids, Michigan to his parents, Kenneth Charles and Audrey Crowley McCready.  He passed to eternal life peacefully on Sunday, January 3, 2021 at his home surrounded by his family at the age of 72 years.

Thomas was a graduate of Sparta High School and Ferris State University.  He married Marsha Jean Hysell on July 27, 1974 in Sparta, Michigan.  He was employed as director of medical equipment.  He had been a resident of Franklin for the past year.  Thomas was of the Lutheran faith.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Kenneth and Audrey McCready; sister, Judy McCready; brothers, Robert C. McCready and Richard G. McCready.

He is survived by his wife of forty six years, Marsha McCready of Franklin; Daughters and Sons-in-law, Wendy and John Key of Franklin, Amber and Christopher Davis of Gig Harbor, Washington; Son, Shawn M. McCready and Claudice Wilford of Brandon, Florida; brother, Donald McCready of Grand Rapids, Michigan; 8 Grandchildren, Ashley Key, Hollie Key, Cody Key, Krislyn Davis, Hanna Davis, Julian McCready, Tegan McCready and Bale McCready; 4 Great Grandchildren, Carter Key, Rowan Perez, Faye Utehs and Dax Utehs

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, April 10, 2021 from 1:00 P.M. - 3:00 P.M. at the Franklin United Methodist Church, 100 West Decherd Street Franklin, Texas 77856.
