Thomas Elmer "Tommy" Copeland, 55, of Donie, Texas passed away on Monday, April 27, 2015 in Bryan, Texas. He was born on August 25, 1959 in Liberty, Texas to Robert and Lois Smith Copeland. He was employed with Groesbeck Livestock for 33 years before his retirement.
He married Norma Sorrels on February 16, 2002. He was a life-long resident of Marquez and a member of the All Around Cowboy Church in Marquez. He was preceded in death by his parents, son; Robert Copeland, grandsons; Chad and Skylar Trahan.

He is survived by:

Brother and Sister-in-law – Lloyd and Karon Copeland of Cuero

7 Grandchildren – Skyla Johnson, Stormie Johnson, Logan Trahan, Pantera Trahan, Gary Garrison, John Cowgill and Chassity Cowgill.

Service will be held on Thursday, April 30, 2015 at 1:30 P.M. at the Marquez Baptist Church. Lee Weiler, Bill Hughes and Bro. Charlie Robinson will officiate. Burial will follow in the Winn Cemetery in Leon County. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 29, 2015 from 6-8 P.M. at McCauley Funeral Home.
