Thomas "Tommy" Lynn Clevenger, 77, of Franklin , Texas , passed away on February 21, 2023. He was born to Ray and Mary Elizabeth Clevenger on May 14, 1945 in Zavala , Texas . His family later moved to Highlands, Texas . Tommy graduated from Robert E. Lee High School in Baytown in 1964 and attended Lee College from there. He was a big history buff and enjoyed taking random courses throughout his lifetime. He was a carpenter for thirty years.
Tommy loved going to rodeos and especially loved watching bull riding. One of his most prized possessions was his state championship buckle he won in 1964, he wore it proudly everywhere he went. He enjoyed taking his daughter, cousins, and friends to local rodeos and could sometimes be found behind the chutes with the other bull riders. Tommy was also a lover of all music and owned and played around fifteen guitars. He was a member of the Catholic faith for the last forty years.
He is preceded in death by his father, mother, the love of his life, Pamela Kay Adair (Katy's Mother), youngest brother, Aubrey Earl Clevenger, nephew, Rodney Clevenger, and niece, Lewanda Sullivan.
Tommy is survived by his daughter, Katy Fuchs, of Franklin , and two grandsons, Levi and Grayson Fuchs, of Franklin, Howard (Cindy) Clevenger of Texarkana, as well as many beloved family members and friends.
