Tammie Lanette Winstead Carney, 49, of Franklin, Texas and formerly of Corpus Christi passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 25, 2017 in Bryan, Texas. She was born on July 31, 1968 in Navasota, Texas to Edward E. Winstead and Mary Evelyn Currie Winstead. She was a graduate of Leon High School and was employed with Calallen I.S.D. as a school nurse. She was preceded in death by her father, Edward E. Winstead, Sr.

She is survived by:
2 Sons – Christopher Carney of Bryan and
Zachary Carney of Austin

Mother – Mary Currie Marriott of Franklin

2 Sisters – Pamela Minter of Teague and
Martha Marriott and husband Terry of Franklin

Brothers – Eddie Winstead, Jr. of Marquez,Fred Winstead of Corpus Christi,Joey Winstead of Kosse and Brian Winstead of Ridge

2 Grandchildren – Ashton Carney of Corpus Christi and Noah Carney of
Austin

Services will be held on Saturday, October 28, 2017 at 10:00 A.M. at the McCauley Funeral Home Chapel in Franklin. Burial will follow in the Holly Cemetery in the Ridge Community of Robertson County, Texas.
A visitation will be held on Friday, October 27, 2017 from 6:00-8:00 P.M. at the McCauley Funeral Home.
