Sybil Jean Rickman was born on June 24, 1942 in Robertson County, Texas to Emery Dennis Blackstone and Cora Bell Horan Blackstone.  She passed away on Thursday, January 16, 2020 in Bryan, Texas at the age of 77 years.

Sybil was a graduate of Hearne High School.  She married George Rickman in November 1969 in Franklin, Texas.  Sybil was employed with Texas Instruments, Wilco and Brookshire Brothers during the years she worked away from home but her most important job was supporting and caring for her family.  Sybil was a resident of the area for the past 50 years and was of the Baptist faith.

"Nanny" was a good mother and good grandmother.  She did not have much growing up but she had much with Poppy and she made much with her grandchildren.  She will be missed.

She is preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Wanda June Ainsworth

She is survived by her husband, George Rickman; Daughter and Son-in-law, Donna Gail and William James Craig of Hockley; Sisters, Shirley Cobb of College Station, Donna Lehosky and Judy Werlinger both of Hearne; 3 Grandchildren, Jonathan Craig, Joshua Craig and Amanda Craig; 9 Great Grandchildren, Logan Craig, Sawyer Craig and Hadley Craig, Amarna Tavizon and Reza Tavizon, Lily Mitchell, Jasmine Mitchell, Skylar Mitchell and Bruce Mitchell.
