Stephen Ray "Steve" Lewis, 56, of Gunnison, Colorado passed away on Sunday, May 10, 2015 in Gunnison. He was born on February 23, 1959 in Freeport, Texas to William and Clara Lewis. Steve spent his younger years growing up in the Wellborn Community and was a 1977 graduate of A&M Consolidated High School. He was employed as a mechanic and was a previous resident of the San Marcos area for 18 years. He spent the last 3 years living and working in Colorado. He was of the Baptist faith. Steve will forever be remembered for his deep love for animals, nature and his sense of humor. He was a man with a big heart.

Services will be held on Saturday, May 16, 2015 at 1:00 P.M. at the McCauley Funeral Home Chapel in Franklin, Texas. Rev. Freddy Burden will officiate.
