Obituary

Ruth Rinehart, 86, of Franklin, Texas passed away on Thursday, April 14, 2016. She was born on January 18, 1930, in Ralls, Texas to Lewis Allison Gunter and Grace Bell Dillon Gunter. Ruth was a graduate of Kosse High School and married Eddie Gaylon Rinehart on June 14, 1947 in Kosse, Texas. She was a friend and a mother. Ruth had been a resident of Franklin are since 1950; previously living in Kosse. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Franklin. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and sisters; Jo Stark, Anna Lee Rasco, Betty Connell and Toppy Clarke and her sister by choice, Nelda Metcalfe.

She is survived by:

Gayla and Gene Tuttle of Plano

Laura Jo and Ed Boswell of Strong, Arkansas

Son - Mike Rinehart of Austin

Grandchildren – Tray Boswell, Genie and Jeremy Humphries, Jason and Jennifer Boswell, Johnson Rinehart and Chris Baker, Jeff and Jessica Rinehart.

Great Grandchildren – Anna Grace Langston, Oaklen Boswell and Marshall Johnson Rinehart

Other relatives – Sharon Cash, Linda Moore, Donna Connell, Melissa Ross, Pat and Kathy Clarke, Lynette Connell Jones and Austin Connell

Services will be held on Sunday, April 17, 2016 at 3:00 P.M. at the First Baptist Church in Franklin. The casket will be open in the church from 2:30 – 3 pm before the service begins. Mitch Harper will officiate. Burial will follow in the Franklin Cemetery. After the graveside service, the family will return to the Church Reception Hall to visit with friends and family. A Visitation will be held on Saturday, April 16, 2016 from 5:00-7:00 P.M. at McCauley Funeral Home Chapel in Franklin.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to your local VFW or to Hospice Brazos Valley.
