Ruth Pauline Hyde Townsend was born on March 29, 1925 in Maysfield, Texas to William Marvin Phipps and Frances Dodson Phipps. She passed away on Thursday, March 24, 2016 in Hearne, Texas at the age of 90 years. She attended school in Cameron and married Robert Murrell Hyde. She had been a resident of Cameron the past 33 years previously living in Waco. She was a member of the New Providence Primitive Baptist Church in Cameron. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, 4 sisters and 1 brother.

A graveside service will be held on Monday, March 28, 2016 at 12:00 P.M. at the IOOF Cemetery in Rockdale, Texas. Elder Vince Hardy will officiate.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association or to your local Hospice Chapter.
