Ruby Hamilton McMoran, 89, of Mabank, Texas passed away on Friday, January 1, 2016 in Athens, Texas. She was born on January 3, 1926 in Electric Mills, Mississippi to John Rorie and Agnes Thurston Rorie. She received her education from Arcadia High School and married Nathan Glen "Jack" Hamilton on April 20, 1941. She had been a resident of Mabank for the past 3 years. She was a lifetime member of the Assembly of God Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, sister – Onabelle Price, Brother – Odell Rorie, Son – John Hamilton, 2 daughters – Pat Bancroft and Jan Roark, grandsons – Scott Burgess and Michael Bancroft.

She is survived by:
Daughter – Deb Burgess and husband Sam of Gun Barrel City

Son – Glen Hamilton and wife Linda of Ft. Worth

Sisters – Martha Lupton and husband Richard of Atkins, Arkansas and Mary Ruth Claypool and husband John of Leeds, Washington

Brothers – John Paul Rorie and wife Jean of Redding, California and
Jesse Rorie and wife Linda of Sacramento, California

19 Grandchildren and Numerous Great and Great-Great Grandchildren

Graveside Services are scheduled for 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, January 5, 2016 at the Wheelock Cemetery. Rev. Dale Wells will officiate.
