Rosie Elizabeth "Peggy" Dobbs was born on October 18, 1932 in Paron, Arkansas to her parents, William and Maria Burnett Wallace.  She entered eternal life on Wednesday, February 19, 2020 in Bryan, Texas at the age of 87 years.

Peggy met and married the love of her life, Ray Carr when she was 16 years old.  She retired from Franklin I.S.D. after 14 years of employment.  She was of the Baptist faith.  Peggy was a wonderful conversationalist.  She had a way of making you feel at ease with her beautiful smile.  She was loved by many and will be missed by the lives she touched.  She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Maria Wallace and her husbands, Ray Carr and James Dobbs.

Peggy is survived by:

Daughter and Son-in-law, Carolyn and David Gideon of Franklin; Son and Daughter-in-law, Carroll and Lana Carr of New Baden; Brothers, George Wallace and Ronnie Wallace both of Benton, Arkansas; Grandchildren, Michael White and Justin Carr; Great Grandchildren : Caitlin White, Brendon White, Kelsey Gillard, Paylee White, Carter White and Ethan Carr; Numerous Nieces and Nephews

Services will be held on Saturday, February 22, 2020 at 2:00 P.M. at McCauley Funeral Home in Franklin, Texas.  Burial will follow in the Holly Cemetery. A Visitation will be held on Friday, February 21, 2020 from 6-8 P.M. at McCauley Funeral Home
