Ron Christopher Phillips was born on October 24, 1970 in Bryan, Texas to parents, Ronnie and Helen Phillips. He passed away to his eternal home surrounded by his family on November 30, 2021 in College Station at the age of 51 years.

Chris, as he was known, was an avid hunter, fisherman and collector of many things. One of his many collections was that of cigars and his collections consisted of cigars form all over the world. As a child, Chris would take his sisters, Renee and Stacy to look for what he called "hoxer boxers" which meant anything found in the road, field or wherever that had any interest. Chris' eyes were that of a clear blue sky. They were so beautiful that his eyes could look right through to your heart. Chris' personality was unique. He was a jokester and had a way of making people laugh and to know him was to love him. He cherished his family including the friends that became family to him. Chris was a Christian that loved the Lord and kept his Bible with him at all times. He will be greatly missed by the people that called him son, dad, grandfather, brother and friend but he will always carry a place in their hearts forever.
Chris leaves behind his daughter, Sarah Christine Phillips; son, Joel Ashton Phillips and wife Samantha Schulz; granddaughter, Evelynn Marie Phillips; parents, Ronnie and Helen Phillips; Sisters, Renee Phillips and Stacy Sanders and nephews, James Brantner, Jr. and Jacob Sanders.

Services will be held on Saturday, December 4, 2021 at 11:00 A.M. at the First Baptist Church, Franklin, Texas. Scott Herbert will officiate. Burial will follow in the Franklin Cemetery. A visitation will be held from 9:30 A.M. until service time at the church on Saturday.
