Roger Dale Thompson was born on December 20, 1951 in Floydada, Texas to Garland and Marie Willis Lange. He passed away on Wednesday, September 9, 2015 in Bryan, Texas at the age of 63 years.
He married Billie Puckett on December 7, 1991 in Hearne, Texas. Roger retired from G.A.T.X. in Hearne in 2006 and was currently employed with Basic Energy. He was of the the Pentecostal faith and was a resident of Franklin for the past 23 years. He was preceded in death by his parents, sister; Hazel Vollan, brothers; Ricky Lange and Darrell Thompson, son; Donnie Burks and 3 grandchildren.

14 Grandchildren and 12 Great Grandchildren

Services will be held on Saturday, September 12, 2015 at 11:00 A.M. at The Pentecostal Church in Franklin. Terry Sealy will officiate. Burial will follow in the Mt. Pleasant Cemetery. A visitation will be held on Friday, September 11, 2015 from 6-8 P.M. at McCauley Funeral Home in Franklin, Texas.
