Robert Wayne Pecht, of College Station, Texas passed away peacefully at his home on Friday, October 4, 2024, at the age of 73 years.  He was born on October 26, 1950, in Houston, Texas.

Robert married the love of his life, Sharron Leigh Johnson on November 6, 1981, in Houston.  He was a resident of Houston most of his life before making his home in College Station for the past 12 years.  He retired from the City of Houston Fire Department after 43 years of service as a firefighter. He retired from station 65-D.  He was a longtime member of the Houston Fire Department Honor Guard.  He was a member of the A&M United Methodist Church in College Station, Texas. Robert was a man of faith, family and service.  His faith and family were of the utmost importance to him.

Robert was preceded in death by his parents, Eddie Belle and James Harris and half-brother, Charles Jacobs.

Robert leaves behind to cherish his memory, wife of almost 43 years, Sharron Pecht and his son, Travis Pecht both of College Station.

Services will be held on Thursday, October 10, 2024, at 11:00 A.M. at the A&M United Methodist Church. Pastor Preston Greenwald will officiate.  There will be a time of visitation with the family from 10:00 A.M until 11:00 A.M. Thursday prior to the Celebration of Life service time at A&M United Methodist Church.  Burial will follow in the Bald Prairie Cemetery in Robertson County, Texas at 2:30 P.M.
