Robert Fulton McCarver went to his Heavenly Home on Friday, May 16, 2025, at the age of 85 years.  He was born on January 27, 1940, in Hearne, Texas to parents, John Wesley McCarver and Lillian Josephine Fulton McCarver.

Robert was a 1958 graduate of Hearne High School and a life-long resident of Hearne, Texas.  Robert was employed as a supervisor at Crane Plumbing for many years before his retirement.  He was of the Baptist faith and attended Five points Baptist Church.

Robert was an avid outdoorsman spending quality time hunting and fishing.  He also enjoyed planting and maintaining a vegetable garden, collecting arrowheads, and watching the Dallas Cowboys play football. Robert took great pride in his family and taught his children and grandchildren all his knowledge. He was a hardworking man that loved his family and was proud of all his children's accomplishments.   Robert will be missed by those that loved him, and all the memories made will be cherished until they meet again.

Robert is preceded in death by his parents, John and Lillian McCarver; son, Benjamin Johnson; granddaughter, Teri Lynn Greensage and his siblings.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory, his children:  Bobbie McCarver and husband John Miklis of Hearne, Judy Pruitt and husband Terry Greensage of Bremond, Julie Danko and husband Matthew of Bay St. Louis, Mississippi, Robert Fulton McCarver, Jr. of Bremond and Donald McCarver and wife Michelle of Franklin.  He is also survived by his daughter-in-law, Marsha Johnson, 16 grandchildren, 19 great- grandchildren, 4 great- great Grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.

Services will be held on Thursday, May 22, 2025, at 10:00 A.M. at the Five Points Baptist Church 9337 FM 2549 Bryan, Texas 77808.  Dana Altimore will officiate. A burial will follow in the Norwood Cemetery in Hearne, Texas.  A visitation with family will be held on Wednesday evening, May 21st from 6:00-8:00 P.M. at the Five Points Baptist Church.
