Robert W. "Bill" Dunn, Jr. was born in Franklin, Texas to Ruth Morgan Dunn and Robert W. Dunn, Sr. on March 8, 1933.  Following graduation from Franklin High School and Baylor University, he entered the Army, serving in France.  He then returned to Baylor and received his master's degree. His love and support of the Baylor Bears never died.

Bill began his lengthy career with the Victoria Independent School District in 1958.  He held positions of coach, teacher, and administrator until his retirement in 1989. He combined his interests in athletics and travel by participating in Senior Olympic racquetball tournaments around the United States.

Bill was preceded in death by his parents.  He is survived by his wife, Patricia Vanderford Dunn, his children, RuthAnn Carver and Billy Dunn, five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Services will be held on Sunday, April 10, 2022 at 2:00 P.M. at the First Baptist Church, Franklin, Texas.  Burial will follow in the Franklin Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations may be made to the YMCA in Victoria, Texas, the Franklin Public Library, or to the Lucress Watson and Dick Watson Children's Foundation (Child First Meds) in Franklin, Texas.
