Raymond T. Anderson entered eternal life on Thursday, September 10, 2026, at the age of 98.  He was born on December 18, 1927, in Robertson County, Texas the fifth of six sons born to Reuben Lane and Amanda Rolene Welch Anderson.

Raymond received his education at King's Highway School.  He served in the medical corps of the US Army during World War II where he was stationed in France and Germany.

"T Bone," as almost everyone knew him, worked and lived in Baytown, Texas as a young man and was employed as a carpenter by Dupont for 30 years. Raymond married the love of his life, Mary Allene Corneilus, on December 18, 1978, in Baytown. In 1985, Raymond and Allene moved to Robertson County and farmed. He was of the Church of Christ faith. Raymond always had a smile for you and a story to share.  He believed there was no better place on earth than Robertson County.

Raymond was preceded in death by his parents, wife, and his five brothers.

He is survived by his niece, Brenda Anderson Thomas and husband Tom of Johnson City and his nephew, Michael Kevin Anderson and wife Jeanne of Sunset, Texas.  He is also survived by many more loving extended family members.

Services will be held on Saturday, September 19, 2026, at 10:30 A.M. at McCauley Funeral Home Chapel in Franklin.  A burial will follow in the Mt. Pleasant Cemetery. A visitation will be held Saturday prior to service from 9:00 A.M. until service time.
