Ralph Oliver " Boots" Closs, 92, of Calvert, Texas passed away on Saturday, December 31, 2016 in Franklin, Texas. He was born on October 11, 1924 in Wheelock, Texas to Ernst and Louie Straub Closs. He married Bobbie Jo Martin on February 10, 1949. She preceded him in death on
June 23, 2014. Mr. Closs was a self-employed Rancher before his retirement. He was a lifetime resident of Calvert and a member of the First Baptist Church in Calvert.

Graveside Services will be on Wednesday, January 4, 2017 at 1:00 P.M. at the Sunnyside Cemetery in Calvert, Texas. A visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 3, 2017 from 6-8 P.M. at McCauley Funeral Home in Franklin.
