Obituary

Paula was born on August 22, 1941, in Winslow, AZ. She passed away at her home with her beloved husband, Raymond, and dear friend, Linda, by her side
on July 6, 2011. Paula was preceeded in death by her father, Marion Buck Kirby; mother, Winona Marie Rhea; step father, Leon Rhea and grandson, Nicklaus Patke.

Paula grew up in Bryan, TX, and graduated from Stephen F Austin High School. For most of her adult life she worked at what she loved the most, being a
wife, mother and grandmother. Paula married the love of her life, Raymond Taylor, on July 30, 1983.

Paula enjoyed her shopping trips to Wal-Mart and spending time with her family. She loved animals and nature and enjoyed bird watching and spending
time in the mountains with Raymond and their friends, Harry and Diane, from Colorado. She was an avid reader and loved to write. She also loved to collect jewelry of all types, shapes and sizes.

Our mom will be missed beyond measure and will be remembered fondly for her warm and caring heart and her wonderful sense of humor. She loved to
laugh. She had a beautiful, infectious laugh even throughout her long battle.

Paula is survived by her husband, Raymond Taylor; children Johnna Arden of Bryan, Richard and Margaret Patke of Austin, Lee and Laura Patke of
Monument CO, Craig Patke and Jennifer Pless of Houston, Karen Eidtson of Sante Fe, Sandra Ray of Houston, Ross Taylor of Huntsville, Holly and Gary Johnson of Bremond, Tamra and Lyn Crowder of Burlington NC,

Also she is survived by her dearest friends Linda Tiner, Barbara Martin, Janice Wood, and her 59 classmates and friends from SFA. Mom wanted to thank
