Obituary

Patsy Nell Corn was born on June 3, 1941 in Franklin, Texas to her parents, F.L. and Irma Pauline Martin Tullous.  She entered eternal life on Monday, May 10, 2021 in Franklin, Texas at the age of 79 years.

Patsy was a lifetime resident of Robertson County.  She was a 1958 Franklin High School graduate.  Patsy married the love of her life, Carol Corn on June 29, 1956 and to this union, two children were born, Bobby and Paula.

Before Patsy retired, she was employed with Love Abstract in Franklin for 18 years and Robertson County Appraisal for 17 years.  She also was a self-employed rancher.   Patsy loved her family but most importantly, she loved God. She was strong in her faith and it reflected throughout her life as being a lifetime member of the Franklin Church of Christ.  She enjoyed watching her grandchildren playing sports and showing in the county fair and was an avid Franklin Lions Football fan.  She was a tremendous support system in all their endeavors.  Patsy will greatly be missed by all the lives she touched.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Carol on April 30, 2000.  She is also preceded in death by her parents, F.L. and Pauline Tullous; brother, Ferman Tullous; grandchildren, Hailey Michelle Corn and Hope Nicole Ortega.

Patsy is survived by her children, Bobby Corn and wife Susan of Ridge and Paula Ortega and husband John of Calvert; Sister, Pebble Varvel of Ridge; Grandchildren: Matthew Corn, Samantha Corn, Trey Corn, Alyse Ortega, Tori Ortega and Gavin Ortega; Great Grandchild, Landry Ortega; a host of nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.

Services will be held on Saturday, May 15, 2021at 2:00 P.M. at the Franklin Church of Christ.  Burial will follow in the Holly Cemetery in Ridge, Texas.  A visitation will be held on Friday from 6:00-8:00 P.M. at McCauley Funeral Home in Franklin.
