Patsy Ansley joined her Heavenly Father peacefully on Thursday, January 23, 2025, at the age of 86 years.  She was born on September 25, 1938, in Concord, Texas to parents, Joseph and Effie Shuffler Arisman.

Patsy received her education in Centerville.  She married Vernice C. "Bud" Ansley on April 9, 1954, in Robertson County, Texas.  Patsy was a resident of Franklin for more than 25 years, previously living in Thorndale.  She was of the Baptist faith.

Patsy will be remembered as genuine and down to earth.  She was a wonderful wife and mother and her love for her family showed by always working hard and providing for their needs.  Patsy was also a giving individual and always ready to help where she was needed in her community, donating a lot of her time to the Holly Cemetery before her health began to fail.  She enjoyed gardening, canning and arts and crafts in her spare time. She loved God and was strong in her faith for him.  One of her favorite times that she enjoyed was sitting out on her porch and singing hymns.  Patsy's sweet spirit will be missed by all that knew her, but her memory will live on in the hearts of her dear family and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Joe and Effie Arisman, her husband, Vernice "Bud" Ansley, son, Charles Ansley, sisters, Laverne "Tinky" Andress and Bobbie Warneke, and her brothers, Jack Arisman and Bill Arisman.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory, children, Diana French and husband Sam of Kyle, James Ansley and friend Jennifer Gamble of Thorndale, grandchildren: Jared Finch, Dustin Finch, Logan Finch, Jessica Wienke, Breanna Ansley.  She is also survived by her great grandchildren: Jagger Finch, Parker Finch, Aubrey Finch, Rylan Wienke, Oliver Finch, Owen Finch and Eric Wienke and by a host of other relatives and friends.

Service for Patsy Ansley will be held on Monday, January 27, 2025, at 2:00 P.M. at McCauley Funeral Home in Franklin, Texas.  A visitation will be held from 12:00 P.M. until service time at the funeral home.  A burial will follow in the Holly Cemetery.
