Patricia Louise Lucy was born on August 26, 1939, in East Chicago, Indiana to her parents, John Hooker and Ethel Arnold Hooker. She passed away with her daughter by her side on Friday, June 7, 2024, at the age of 84 years.
Patricia was a 1957 graduate of Columbia City High School. She married her husband, Woodrow B. Lucy, Jr. in 1974. Patricia served as secretary to the NATO Team during her husband's tour stationed in Wiesbaden, Germany. She then served as property book chief for Fort Hood after returning to the United States. Patricia and her husband enjoyed traveling after their retirement and made their home in Lillian, Alabama.
Patricia was preceded in death by her parents, John and Ethel Hooker; her husband of 46 years, Woody Lucy and her grandson, Tony Mark Earnhart, Jr.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory, her daughter and son-in-law, Chris and Lynn Sechelski of Franklin; her great grandchildren: Tony Mark Earnhart, III, Brianna Harvey, Shelby Earnhart and Veronica DeWeese; grandchildren of the heart, Elizza Williams, Jake Palcer and Noah Smith; her cousins, Bill Clark and Phyllis Haggard; her dear friend, Ann Hudson and finally her two companions, Muffin and Pedro.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, June 14, 2024, at 6:00 P.M. at the Robertson County Cowboy Church. She will be laid to rest by her husband at the Barrancas National Cemetery in Pensacola, Florida at a later date.
