Pamela Ann Bauer was born on March 2, 1954, in El Paso, Texas to parents, Billy Wayne and Patsy Ann Pyle Medart. She entered eternal life on Monday, October 20, 2025, surrounded by her loving family.

Pam was a graduate of Spring Branch High School and received her bachelor's degree from Stephen F. Austin and her master's degree from Tulane University. She married her husband, Charles Maxwell Bauer on May 8, 1981, in Houston, Texas. She was employed as a Database Administrator for the University of Texas M.D. Anderson for 15 years before her retirement. Pam was a resident of Meadows Place, Texas for over 30 years prior to living in Franklin. She was of the Methodist faith. She is preceded in death by her parents, Billy and Pat Medart, and Uncle Larry Pyle.

Pam is survived by her loving family: husband of 44 years, Charles Maxwell Bauer of Franklin, children, Charles Evan Bauer and wife Jennifer of Meadows Place, William Matthew Bauer of Pasadena, and Alexis Bauer of Richmond. She is also survived by her brother, Mitchell Medart of Bryan, sister-in-law, Virginia Bauer of Tyler, nieces, Kristen, Lauren, Sarah, and Faith nephew, Mark, great nephew, Myles, 2 grand nieces and 2 grand nephews.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, November 1, 2025, at 2:00 P.M. at McCauley Funeral Home in Franklin, Texas. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
