Obia Andy Cargill, 91, of Franklin, Texas passed away on Thursday, January 22, 2014 in Franklin, Texas. He was born on September 20, 1923 in New Baden, Texas to John Allen and Martha Jane Cargill. Mr. Cargill served during World War II. He married Nellie Oleta Cargill on May 26, 1946. He was a retired Robertson County Commissioner and was a life-long resident of Franklin. He was a member of the First Baptist Church, New Baden, Texas. He was preceded in death by his wife on January 8, 2013.

Services will be held on Saturday, January 24, 2015 at 2:00 P.M. at the McCauley Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Freddy Burden will officiate. Burial will follow in the Mt. Pleasant Cemetery. Visitation will be from 9:00 A.M. until service time at the funeral home.
