Obituary

Norman Morgan "Sam" Pack 90 yrs old passed away Friday, June 27, 2014 at his residence in Shiloh Community. He was born February 8, 1924 to RH and Ethel Closs Pack in Edge, Texas. He attended Franklin High School. Sam was an Army veteran of WW11 and served in the Battle of the Bulge. He retired as a Postman in 1979. Sam married Dorcas Upright in 1942 in Bryan, Texas. He was a resident of Brazos and Robertson County and was a member of the Shiloh Baptist Church. He was also a member of the Cedar Creek Masonic Lodge #300 for 62 years. He was preceded in death by his parents, sister; Louise Ruland, brother; Wallace Pack, and brother; Lynn Pack.

Wife- Dorcas Pack of Franklin

Son- Tom Pack of Franklin

Son and Daughter-in-law- Al and Debbie Pack of Kingwood

Daughter and son-in-law- Charissa & Darrell French of Franklin

Grandchildren - Morgan Pack, Carson Pack, and John "Bud" Vilbig

Services will be Wednesday, July 2, 2014 at 11:00 am in Shiloh Baptist Church with Keith Petteway officiating. Burial with Military Honors will be at Wheelock Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday, July 1, 2014 from 6:30 pm – 8:00 pm at McCauley Funeral Home in Franklin.
