Norma Jean Johnston, 67, of College Station, Texas passed away on Sunday, April 17, 2016 in Kentucky. She was born on November 4, 1948 in Hearne, Texas Keith and Ann Richardson Johnston. She was retired from the State of Texas where she was employed as a cosmetology instructor. Norma was of the Baptist faith and was preceded in death by her parents and son, Sherwin Gomez.

She is survived by:

Children – Shane Gomez of Liberty and
Sherry L. Chavez of Normangee

Sisters – Carolyn Francis and Linda Francis both of Bryan

Brothers – Jerry Johnston of Bryan

5 Grandchildren – Anthony Chavez, Natalie Chavez, Nicole Chavez, Kyle Gomez and Bryan Gomez

3 Great Grandchildren

Graveside Services will be held on Monday, April 25, 2016 at 3:00 P.M. at the Bald Prairie Cemetery.
