Nadine Mavis Grigsby was born on December 8, 1934 in Lafayette, Louisiana to parents, Henry and Mavanee Bice Williams. She peacefully went to her eternal home with her family by her side on Monday, December 6, 2021 at the age of 86 years.
Nadine married the love of her life, Boyd Grigsby on February 23, 1973 in Houston, Texas. She was a homemaker and a resident of Robertson County for the past twenty-one years previously living in Crosby.
Nadine was of the Christian faith and a very spiritual woman. She was described as being the monarch of her family. Nadine loved her home and took great pride in taking care of it. She also loved her family and always enjoyed cooking for them. As a mother, she was always a great listener and advisor to her children. She enjoyed cooking, gardening, traveling, crafts and crocheting in her spare time. Her presence will be missed by all who knew her.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Mavanee Williams; husband, Boyd Grigsby; daughter, Renda Pate; son, Gerald Cooper; granddaughter, Tiffany Dawson; grandson, Christopher Cooper and great great granddaughter, Adalyn Millsap.
She is survived daughters: Shanna Stryjek of Winder Georgia, Cheryl Sanders and Tammy Greenough both of Bryan; Son, Troy Purser of Huntsville; sister, Gwenda Hughes of Franklin; step-children: Donna Kyzar, Donald Grigsby and David Grigsby all of Mississippi; 19 Grandchildren, 17 Great Grandchildren and 12 Great Great Grandchildren.
