Myrtle Jean Green entered eternal life on Saturday, September 9, 2023 at the age of 74 years. She was born on October 7, 1948 in Leon County, Texas to her parents, Fred Winstead and Fannie Mae Coker Winstead.

Myrtle is best described by her family,  a loving and caring person. She was always the life of the party. Myrtle enjoyed spending time with her sister quilting and crafting. She was a great baker and always loved to bake for her family. She was a resident of Leon and Robertson Counties most of her life and was of the Baptist faith. Myrtle had a loving and care free spirit that will be sorely missed by her children and grandchildren but her memory will live on in each of them.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Fred and Fannie Mae Winstead; son, Michael Green; granddaughters, Jennifer Brekenfeld and Nicki Pivonka.

Myrtle leaves behind to cherish her memory, Children, Loretta Pineda of Singleton, Aura Green of Bremond, Becky Martinez and husband Pedro of Bryan and Alan Green of Bremond; sister, Esther Lloyd of Franklin; 12 grandchildren: Chad Strobel, Brad Strobel, Oscar Pineda, Adrianna Pineda, Seleste Pineda, Shelbi Green, Joshua Nelson, Tatum McNeely, Shawn Pivoka, Lawrence Pivonka, Crystal Cornejo and Veronica Cornejo. She is also survived by 10 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Services will be held on Monday, September 18, 2023 at 2:00 P.M. at McCauley Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in the Bryan City Cemetery. A visitation will be held on Monday from 1:00 P.M. until service time at the funeral home.
