Mitchell Odell Joshlin, 69, of Calvert, Texas passed away on Friday, July 1, 2016 at the Veterans Hospital in Temple, Texas. He was born on December 7, 1946 in Orange, Texas to Amos Mitchell Joshlin and Alice Pharis Joshlin. He received his education in Vidor, Texas and married Melvis Ann Johnson on August 7, 1986. He was a veteran serving in the United States Army in Korea. Mr. Joshlin was employed as a truck driver. He had been a resident of Calvert for 30years. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Wife Melvis Ann Joshlin of Calvert

Daughters – Rachel Fachorn and husband Nathan of Franklin,
Georgeanne Shields and husband Zachariah of Iola and
Renee Jenkins of Vidor

Sister – Marcellia LaRocque of Manteca, CA

Brother – David C. Joshlin of Crestview, FL

8 Grandchildren- Nathan Fachorn, Jr., Chaz Odell Shields, Axel Lee Shields, Michelle Davis, Melinda Jenkins, Cory Jenkins, Michael Joshlin and Marcus Joshlin

Services will be held on Thursday, July 7, 2016 at 3:00 P.M. at the McCauley Funeral Chapel in Franklin. Burial will follow in the Sunnyside Cemetery in Calvert. A visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 6, 2016 from 6-8 P.M. at McCauley Funeral Home.
