Melba Clois Huffman was born on October 20, 1940 in Pearsall, Texas to her parents, R.L. Montgomery and Arma Lynn Zerre Montgomery.She passed away peacefully on November 3, 2020 at the age of 80years.

Melba married Larry Huffman on May 17, 1973.  She was a homemaker and had been a resident of Tyler the past eight years.  She was a former resident of Franklin and was of the Christian faith.

She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.

Melba is survived by her children: Melvin Routon, Leslie Routon, Cody Linson, L.J. Linson and Elba Huffman. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and many other relatives.

A graveside service will be held on Monday, November 9, 2020 at 2:00 P.M. at the William Bethesda Cemetery in Leon County.  A visitation will be held from 10:00AM-12:00 PM Monday at the McCauley Funeral Home.
