Mavanee Davis was born on February 7, 1920 in Iola, Texas to Monroe and Roseha Taylor Davis. She passed away on Friday, December 27, 2013 in Franklin, Texas at the age of 93 years. She worked as a switch board operator for Galena Park Hospital and retired at the age of 83. She was a life resident of Houston and had been a resident of Franklin for the past 4 years. She was preceded in death by her parents, husbands; Henry Williams and Jack Davis, Grandson; Gerald Lee Cooper, Great Granddaughter; Tiffany Dawson and sister; Lillie Bell Coatney.

Services will be held on Monday, December 30, 2013 at 2:00 P.M. at the McCauley Funeral Home Chapel in Franklin. Gwenda Hughes will officiate. Burial will follow in the Mt. Pleasant Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 29, 2013 from 4-6 P.M. at McCauley Funeral Home in Franklin
