Mary Ann O'Neill went to her Heavenly home surrounded by her family on Wednesday, December 11, 2019 at the age of 76 years and 1 day shy of her 77 ^th birthday.  She was born on December 12, 1942 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to her parents Paul P. Comly, Sr. and Anna Doyle Comly.

Mary married John O'Neill on February 21, 1959 in Pine Hill, New Jersey. He preceded her in death on July 28, 2017 after 58 years of marriage. She completed the LVN Program in 1983 while living in Texas and became a nurse. Shortly after, she and her family moved back to New Jersey and she continued working as a nurse there.   In 1991 she and her family made a final move to Franklin and she became employed with the Franklin Nursing Home and continued to work there until her retirement.

Mary was not only an outstanding nurse, but an outstanding mother of five as well. Her children remember her wicked sense of humor and her love for horror movies as well as her strong Irish stubbornness.  She will always be remembered most for her gentle heart and generous spirit and her love for God.

She was also preceded in death by her Son; William O'Neill, grandson, Garrick Sperow; parents, brother, Leonard and sisters, Louise and Edna.

She is survived by:

Daughters and Sons-in-law, Patricia Sperow of Franklin, Mary Anne and John Simchak of Blakeslee, Pennsylvania and Bonnie and Michael Perkins of Bryan; Son and Daughter-in-law, John O'Neill, Jr. and Cheryl O'Neill of Franklin; Sister, Marie Mayfield of Corpus Christi; Brothers, Paul Comly, Jr. of Cedar Park, Francis Comly of Bryan and Philip Comly of Franklin

5 Grandchildren: Jennifer Browse, Bryan O'Neill, Sean O'Neill, Colin Perkins and Daniel Perkins 2 Great Grandchildren: Shelby Browse and Saleen Browse

Services will be held on Friday, December 20, 2019 at 4:00 P.M. at McCauley Funeral Home Chapel in Franklin, Texas.  Visitation will be held on Friday from 3:00 P.M. until service time at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital.  Stjude.org
