Mary Louise Carter, 94, of Houston and formerly of Boone Prairie Community of Robertson County, Texas passed away on Wednesday, July 3, 2013 in Houston, Texas. She was born on June 27, 1919 in Franklin, Texas to William Jessie and Willy Mary Wood Maxwell. She attended Franklin High School and married John Wright Carter. She was employed with Spring Branch School for 37 years. She was a member of the Brook Hollow Church of Christ. She was also a member of the Tops Club in Houston and The Food Service Club with the S.B.I.S.D.
She was preceded in death by her parents, siblings and daughter-in-law, Josephine Carter.
She is survived by

Kenneth Duane and Karen Carter of Brenham
6 Grandchildren, 7 Great Grandchildren and 1 Great Great Granchild

Services will be held on Saturday, July 6, 2013 at 1:00 P.M. at McCauley Funeral Home Chapel in Franklin. Gerald Fruzia and Ray Davis will officiate. Burial will follow in the West Boone Cemetery
Visitation will be held on Friday, July 5, 2013 from 6-8 pm at McCauley Funeral Home Chapel in Franklin.
