Mary Kathy  "Angel" Stokley was born on October 14, 1951 in Sacramento, California to Charles and Bertha Wood Shapard.  She passed away surrounded by her loving family at her home on Sunday, March 17, 2019 at the age of 67 years.

Mary was a graduate of  J.F. Kennedy High School and married James Alfred "Tex" Stokley on May 8, 1971 in Wheelock, Texas.  Mary was employed with Make A Way Automotive as a bookkeeper.  Mary was also an artist, crafter, mother, loving wife and mema.  Mary was a resident of Wheelock for the past 19 years previously living in California.  She was a member of the Wheelock Baptist Church.

19 Grandchildren: Sabrina, Angelina, Jonathan and Clarissa Hall, Jacob, Adam, Alexis, Bubba, Alora, Cheyenne, Taylor, Hayden, Nathan, Hudson, Noah, Judah, Anna, Elena and Titus Stokley

Services will be held on Thursday, March 21, 2019 at 5:00 P.M. at the Wheelock Cemetery Chapel.  Burial will follow in the Wheelock Cemetery.

The family wishes to invite you to a fellowship reception at the Wheelock Baptist Church immediately following the burial.
