Mary Allene Anderson, 87, of Franklin, Texas passed away on Thursday, June 14 2018 in Franklin.  She was born on August 19, 1930 in Baytown, Texas to Cecil and Bertie Cobb Cornelius.  She was a graduate of Robert E. Lee High School.  She married Raymond T. Anderson on December 18, 1978.  She was employed for 25 years with Gulf Coast Hospital in Baytown and a Business Coordinator before her retirement in 1985.  Allene had been a resident of Franklin for the past 33 years previously living in Baytown.  She was a member of the Edge Baptist Church.  She is preceded in death by her parents; sister, Marlene Harrison and brother, Hugh Cornelius.

Services are scheduled for 4:00 P.M. Saturday, June 16, 2018 at the McCauley Funeral Home Chapel in Franklin.  Burial will follow in the Mt. Pleasant Cemetery.  A visitation will be held on Friday, June 15, 2018 from 6:00-8:00 P.M. at McCauley Funeral Home.
