Marilyn Doris Thomson was born on September 16, 1946, in Bryan, Texas to her parents, Marvin and Doris Bolton Stephens.  She entered eternal life on Thursday, March 14, 2024, at her home at the age of 77 years.

Marilyn attended school in Franklin and Houston.  She was employed in Casino Management before her retirement.  Marilyn was a resident of Franklin most of her life.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Marvin and Nikki Stephens and Doris  and Bill Taylor; sister, Sandra Clopton, Nancy Taylor Goodrum and Debra Leasman and nephew, Billy Dominy

Marilyn leaves behind her loving family, Sons and daughters-in-law, James Britten and Wynona McCormick of Franklin, Darryl Wade and Cyndi McCormick of Franklin and Warren Douglas and Jessica Thurman of New Orleans, Louisiana; sisters and brothers-in-law, Carolyn Hudson of Lexington, Sheila Kay and Doug Dominy of Lexington and Barbara Catherine and Larry Weathers of Louisiana; brothers and sister-in-law, James William and Julie Taylor of North Carolina and Roger Dale Leasman of Cold Spring.  She is also survived by her grandchildren: Erin, Brittney, Tyler, Maigan and Corbin and Great Grandchildren, Joleigh and Laddie. Numerous nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, March 16, 2024, at 1:00 P.M. at the home of Darryl and Cyndi McCormick (3155 FM 2446 Franklin, Texas 77856).
