Marilyn Lorraine Plagens, 60, of Franklin, Texas passed away on Wednesday, March 19, 2014 at her residence. She was born on June 23, 1953 in Hearne, Texas to Clifton and Dorothy Forson Brooks. She attended Franklin High School. She married Billy Ray Plagens on September 26, 1979. Marilyn worked in accounting until her retirement. Marilyn attended Henry Prairie Baptist Church. She was also a homemaker and loved her family. Her joy was her children, grandchildren and granddogs. She was a kind and generous person that will be missed by all who knew her. Marilyn was preceded in death by her parents, Cliff and Dorothy Brooks and her father-in-law, Allen Gus Plagens.

Services will be held on Saturday, March 22, 2014 at 11:00 A.M. at the Henry Prairie Baptist Church. David Pantermuehl will officiate. Burial will follow in the Henry Prairie Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Friday, March 21, 2014 from 6-8 P.M. at the McCauley Funeral Home Chapel.
