Lovelle Russell, 85, of Franklin, Texas passed away on Tuesday, January 14, 2014 in Crockett, Texas. She was born on July 27, 1928 in Seale, Texas to Ed and Maude Hawthorne Cunningham. She attended Franklin High School and married George D. Russell on September 6, 1947. Mrs. Russell was retired from Franklin I.S.D. where she was employed as the school secretary for 24years. She was a life-long resident of Franklin and of the Baptist faith. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and sons, Randall "Cowboy" Russell and Dale Russell.

She is survived by:
Son and Daughter-in-law – Shorty and Delaine Russell of North Zulch
Daughter and Son-in-law – Carolyn and Dennis Ivey of Crockett
Daughters-in-law – Pam Russell of Franklin and Madelyn Ramsey of Wheelock
Sister – Geraldine "Jerry" Kruger of Deanville
11 Grandchildren and 21 Great Grandchildren

Graveside Services will be held on Friday, January 17, 2014 at 3:00 P.M. at the Mt. Pleasant Cemetery. Dennis Ivey will officiate. A visitation will be held on Thursday, January 16, 2014 from 6:00 –9:00 P.M. at McCauley Funeral Home in Franklin.
