Obituary

Linda Skorupinski was born on August 2,1954 in Columbus, Ohio, to her parents, William and Mary Hammack Dwyer.  She passed from this life and entered eternal life with her family by her side on Thursday, March 28, 2024, at the age of 69 years.

Linda left the buckeye state at the age of 13 years and made her home in Texas.  She married her loving husband, Billy Skorupinski on October 2, 1970, in Houston, Texas.  Linda was employed with Pinnacle Homestead Management for over 20 years as an apartment manager. She was a resident of Franklin for the past 46 years, previously living in Navasota and Houston.

Linda loved her family, supporting her children and grandchildren in all their endeavors was one of her most important roles.  She was always there to cheer them on in everything they did.  When she wasn't busy with her family, she enjoyed traveling, fishing, playing softball and racquetball and annual girl trips. Linda could be hardheaded and was a woman that tackled everything head on.  Her persistency led her to being successful in anything she set her mind to.  Linda was the matriarch of her family and will be greatly missed by all that loved her so much.

Linda is preceded in death by her parents, Wylie and Mary Legg; sister, Theresa Faske; niece, Christy Dioguardi and life-long friend, Don Roberts.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory, husband of 53 years, Billy Skorupinski of Franklin; children, Shannon Skorupinski and wife Amber of Danbury, Stacey Adam and husband Michael of Plano and Shelby Skorupinski and wife Misty of Franklin;  11 grandchildren: Cory Skorupinski(Missy), Courtney Knoerr (Marcus), Cody Skorupinski, Macy Shipman, Gregory Adam, Jeremy Adam, Emily Adam, Madison Skorupinski (Logan), Mason Skorupinski, Mayli Skorupinski and Makenna Skorupinski; 4 great grandchildren: Cooper Skorupinski, Savannah Skorupinski, Noah Knoerr and Ella Knoerr; sister, Debbie Fatta and husband Lee of Houston; brother, Kyle Legg and wife Jill Chesson of Ingram; brother-in-law, Mike Faske of Hilton, New York; She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and life-long friend, Sharon Roberts.

Services will be held on Wednesday, April 3, 2024, at 11:00 A.M. at the Bald Prairie Church of Christ.  Bubba Alfred will officiate.  Burial will follow in the Bald Prairie Cemetery.  A visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 2, 2024, at McCauley Funeral Home from 6:00-8:00 P.M.
