Linda Jo "Sasha" Walther was born on July 14, 1947 to her parents, Clifford Otis and Sally Johnson Marx in Austin, Texas.  She entered eternal life on Saturday, June 12, 2021 at her home in Franklin with her family by her side.

Linda received her education in Round Rock.  She married Alfred "Eddie" Walther on March 12, 1966 in Thrall, Texas.  She was employed with Hutto ISD as a high school secretary for seventeen years before her retirement.  Linda was a resident of Franklin for the past twenty years previously living in Hutto.  She was of the Christian faith and attended Elliott Baptist Church.

Linda was preceded in death by her parents, Clifford and Sally Marx; her brother, Dudley Marx and her son, James Edward Walther.

She is survived by her Husband of fifty-five years, Alfred "Eddie" Walther of Franklin; her daughter and son-in-law, Jann and Johnny Lopez of Franklin; Son and Daughter-in-law, Tim and Traci Walther of Juneau, Alaska; Honorary Son, William Mitchell; Sister, Sue Boyd of Lake Buchanan; Brothers, Mike Marx of McDade and Alan Robinson of Lockhart; Grandchildren, Halee Lopez and Jamie Lopez and Numerous Nieces and Nephews

A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, June 15, 2021at 11:00 A.M. at Elliott Baptist Church.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice Brazos Valley or service dog organization of choice.
