Linda Marie Jones-Hallman Powers entered eternal life in the early morning hour of Monday, October 6, 2025, at the age of 63 years, surrounded by those whom she loved and loved her.  She was born on January 17, 1962, in Ft. Riley, Kansas to her parents, Max V. Jones and Paddy C. Kite Jones.

Linda was a 1981 graduate of Eisenhower High School in Lawton, Oklahoma.  She attended Texas Women's College before entering the United States Army Engineer Corps, stationed in Texas, Massachusetts and Hawaii.  Linda served in Dessert Storm and Global War on Terrorism during her 16 years in the military.  She later retired and became a self-employed rancher. Linda was resident of Calvert for the past 4 years previously living Waxahachie, Texas.  She was a member of the Robertson County Cowboy Church.

Linda is preceded in death by her husband, Timothy Powers, parents, Max and Paddy Jones, sister, Benita Ebel and nephew, Daniel Jones.

Linda leaves behind to cherish her memory, brother and sister-in-law, Arnold E. "Skip" Jones and Becky Jones of Franklin; two grandchildren, Timothy Ray Powers and Alice Powers; her brother-in-law, Cliff Ebel of Franklin; Nephew, Charlie Jones and wife Sherry, numerous other nieces, nephews, cousins and many brothers and sisters in Christ.

A celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, November 15, 2025, at 1:00 P.M. at the Robertson County Cowboy Church in Franklin, Texas.
