Lillie "Tina" Currie, 69 of Franklin, Texas passed away on Monday, March 17, 2014 at her residence. She was born on April 2, 1944 in Leon County, Texas to Freddy J. Howard and Elizabeth Howard. She attended Mexia High School. She married Donald Ray Currie on May 7, 1960 and had been a resident of Franklin for the past 53 years. She was of the Church of Christ faith. She was preceded in death by her Parents, husband, brothers, James Eugene Howard and Hugh Douglas Howard, sisters, Melvia D. Cazey and Cathie Howard Winstead.

Services will be held on Thursday, March 20, 2014 at 11:00 A.M. at the Franklin Church of Christ. Burial will follow in the Holly Cemetery in the Ridge community. Visitation will be on Wednesday from 5-8 P.M. at McCauley Funeral Home in Franklin.
