Lawrence Kenneth DeZavala was born on September 4, 1925 in New Orleans, Louisiana to Lawrence and Alice O'Quin DeZavala. He entered eternal life on Wednesday, December 23, 2020 in Franklin, Texas at the age of 95 years.

He was a graduate of Freeport High School and the University of Texas El Paso. Mr. DeZavala was a WWII Veteran, serving in Italy. He married the love of his life, Rachel Sugg on June 16, 1945 in Freeport, Texas. He was a member of the St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Franklin and was a resident of Franklin for the past 43 years. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Rachel and Son, Kenneth.

Mischele DeZavala and daughter, Lanie of Allison Park, Pennsylvania

Grandchildren – Kendra Webb, Tiffany Schoppe, Matt Waller, Dale DeZavala and Brook DeZavala

Step-Grandson – Dave Waller

Great Grandchildren – Brandon DeZavala, Cade DeZavala, Audrey Schoppe, Anna Schoppe, Kate Schoppe, Allison Waller, Sam Waller, Lexton Waller, Tye Petrice and Levi Petrice

Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, December 29, 2020 at 11:00 A.M. at the New Baden Cemetery in New Baden, Texas.
